What is Versus?+

Versus (also called the Rizz Arena) is a daily rizz battle. Everyone gets the same texting scenario, you write your own reply in 200 characters or less, and you get grouped with up to six other players who answered the same brief. Everyone votes for their favourite, and the reply with the most votes wins the round.

Do I write the reply myself, or does the AI?+

You write it. Versus is your own words, not the generator. If you get stuck you can ask for a couple of AI suggestions to spark an idea, but what you enter is yours.

How do trophies work?+

Trophies are awarded by where you finish in your group: 30 for first, then 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, and 2 for last. You never lose trophies. Even a last-place finish still adds to your total, so playing always moves you forward.

How do I move up the tiers?+

Tiers come from your all-time trophy total: Bronze at 0, Silver at 50, Gold at 150, Platinum at 300 and Diamond at 500. Because trophies are never deducted, your tier only ever goes up. The leaderboard is all-time and does not reset.

When does a new round start?+

A new scenario drops every day, and entries for the current round close at 8pm ET. Results are worked out once the round closes and land on your results screen.

Is Versus free?+

Yes, completely free. No premium required to enter rounds, vote, or appear on the leaderboard. You can play as a guest, but signing in is what banks your trophies and starts your streak.

Can I play on mobile?+

Yes. Versus is in the SmoothRizz iOS app and on the web at smoothrizz.com/arena.
